The party started very late by 11 pm on a Friday and was to
last all night, we all strolled down to the junction to get drinks, both
alcoholic and non-alcoholic. We were
really prepared for the party, even though my mum never wanted me in the party
because she never loved parties especially late night parties where one would
stay till the next morning, but gush it was my best friend’s party Lili and she
won’t be happy if I deed miss it. After we go the drink, we went back to the
party station and started dosing it into our bellies, the music was so loud and
we went into the spirit with it.
My crush Felix
was so in the party and mehn I was out
to let him notice me, I went straight to where he was sitting and dropped my
drink, I started dancing “oh girl you are such a good dancer” Felix said to me,
my God I was so happy, I couldn't hold it in me again, I sat down on the chair
close to him “would it be bad if I admire you?” I asked Felix, he smiled
softly, I felt like kissing his lips, I was so deep into him, I imagined
kissing him and him touching me all over “are you okay?” Felix voice brought me
out of my thoughts “yes I am” I said, “I was scared because you were just
smiling in a deep thought” I stood up with my drink “I think I need to ease
myself” I said and left Felix. I
strolled out of the party hall and sat down outside drinking, a black car
passed, turned back and passed again. I felt they missed their way and they
were for the party, I strolled down to the road and waited for them to pass
again, but they didn't, I went back into the party hall.
By 12 PM the
voice rang loud “all doors closed, the party is about to start fully” they
locked everywhere and we were all inside. Lili’s house was a very big house and
she invited so many people for the party. While dancing with Hesh, he held my
hands and turned me round “you are beautiful” he said to me” I was still
dancing speechlessly, he used his hands to go round my neck and pressed my
breast, at first I thought it was a mistake, “hope that was a mistake” I asked
him, he smiled, “your breast is very soft and I feel like doing it again” he
said and was pushing his hands down to touch it again, I pushed his hands out
and slapped him “you are a fool” I said to him “okay am sorry I will not try it
again” I was so angry with him, but Hesh
was also my best friend “okay but don’t try it again because it is not funny” I
warned him, he smile and hugged me, I heard a very sharp loud voice of a girl
in pains, the DJ increased the volume of the music and it became more louder
“did you hear that sound?” I asked Hesh, he smiled again “maybe a boy friend is
doing his work on his babe” he said and held my hands “but that doesn’t sound
like a boy and girl stuff, it sounds like someone in pains” I said to Hesh “but
I can’t hear anything” Hesh said to me “the music is now louder and it is
really strange because the Dj actually increased the volume of his music after
that painful sound” I said to Hesh, “okay forget about it and let’s dance and
celebrate our friend” I was not myself after I heard that sound, that sound was
not just an ordinary sound and I knew it was not or maybe someone was actually
having sex with her boyfriend.
I drank myself
full, my mum’s call came in like 20 times, I didn't pick it because all I would
hear was “Willy come back home” I was so tired of my mum tying me down at home
and call it protection, I was 20 years and needed to be exposed and anyway it’s
my friend’s birthday bash. I carried my phone and dropped it were I could not
remember, I never wanted her disturbance again; everybody was dancing and
dancing. I excused myself and went upstairs to ease myself, on my way going up,
I saw blood traces everywhere, I became scared, I heard another sharp sound
again, I followed the blood trace, I saw a door that was opened, I peeped
inside and didn't see anyone. I was so scared, I tiptoed back to meet Hesh and
told him to quietly follow me “why?” he asked me “am scared, I feel something
is happening here but we don’t know” I answered, Hesh held me “Willy don’t be
scared, this is Lilli’s house and it is not the first time here, so why are you
scared? Don’t be scared nothing is happening” Hesh said. I was so scared, I
never listened to him, I dragged him with me to see the blood stains on the
floor, he saw it and we traced it down to the room I went to before, he told me
to wait outside while he tiptoed into the room that had another room inside, I
accepted and Hesh went into the room, I waited and waited and the next sound
was Hesh painful cry, I ran downstairs and screamed for help, I ran to Felix
“something is happening up stairs “oh you are drunk” he said to me “I am not
drunk, something is happening upstairs” I said to him, he only gazed at me and
went back to dance, nobody listened to me, they were all carried away by the
music. I climbed up again confused, I tiptoed into the room and I saw a very
big gas cooker and human parts on the floor, my friend Lili was doing the
frying while her father and mother and some men were doing the killing I overheard
them saying “Lili go and get the next party person” then I believed that their
aim was to kill everybody that came for the party, I was so surprised that Lili
my friend was into such a thing, I couldn't hold myself, the voice came out
loud as I was crying, they heard it and came out, they chased me, I was scared
and ran without looking back, I screamed out loud while running, people noticed
that there was a problem, I ran to the door and was hitting it open, people
were also trying to run but the door could not open, they were now killing
anyhow, “call the police” I cried out
loud, then we found out that out of 30 people that came for the party 20 were
killers, I saw Felix head chopped off, and some other people, I tried getting
my phone but I could not see it.
They carried me
into the room and was about to chop off my head, I pleaded with my friend Lili
but she only laughed at me and when they raised the knife to cut off my head, I
woke up from my sleep. When I checked the time, it was 8 A.M, and Lili’s
message came in inviting me for her birthday paty which was to hold in house on
Friday. My dreams do come to pass and I
never imagined going for that party and after that dream, I listened to my
mum’s advice of not leaving the house and staying out late
